TIRA has developed a product range of inertial shakers to simulate vibrations on large structures such as in aviation industry or big buildings.

TIRA manufactures inertial shakers (IN) in a range from 125 N to 650 N. The inertial shakers (IN) are directly bolted with the structure and can be coupled thereto at any angle within 360 degrees.

These inertial shakers (IN) are characterised by excellent lateral and axial stiffness. Excitation takes place by permanent magnets, and a special spring system provides optimal guidance. So, the full body mass of shaker can impact on the structure.


It is distinguished by a very high useful frequency range of up to 20 kHz and, appropriate measuring equipment provided, it is optimally suitable for professional calibration applications.

The shaker is cooled by means of a maintenance-free fan. Cooling air is sucked through a filter system. TIRA inertial shakers (IN) are used in common industry, aviation and aerospace industries, building construction and civil engineering or shipbuilding as they feature a favourable and efficient method to apply dynamic forces to large structures.
