Due to the ever increasing safety requirements, industry increasingly develops sensor technology and components to be tested under extreme stress conditions.

The test parameters are developing up to higher and higher acceleration rates in combination with large impact ranges. These tests cannot be realised anymore with an armature displacement of 50.8 mm. TIRA has met the requirements of the industry on test systems that can simulate extreme shock conditions and developed a series of long-stroke shakers with a travel of 100 mm (pk-pk).

Apart from their application in test labs for development issues, these shakers have also stood the test upon integration in complete production lines.
