TIRA head expanders are made of magnesium and provide an extension of the armature table of vibration exciters up to a ratio of 2:1.

The special design of head expanders allows tests up to 2000 Hz. Head expanders particularly provided with Vibrodamp are used for excitation frequencies beyond 1000 Hz and ensure additional resonance damping.

Apart from standard sizes, TIRA also offers customised solutions in round or square configuration.
